Hello Samba help, When I try to use 'restrict acl with mask = true', I get: [2001/10/16 09:19:44, 0] param/loadparm.c:map_parameter(1986) Unknown parameter encountered: "restrict acl with mask" This is with the latest Samba (2.2.2) on Red Hat Linux 7.1. Desperately seeking clue. -K =========================================== Ken Foster Mentor Graphics Corporation Corporate Applications Engineer Environment Support 800-547-4303 ken_foster@mentor.com Visit http://www.mentor.com/supportnet/ ============================================

It was previously used as a work around until the "security mask" genre of options were fixed.> I'm also confused about value of the parameter. The text says > true/false, but the example has it set to 'no'. Can I assume that > yes/no and true/false are synonymous?yes == true == 1 no == false == 0 I know...too many options. :-) cheers, jerry --------------------------------------------------------------------- www.samba.org SAMBA Team jerry_at_samba.org www.plainjoe.org jerry_at_plainjoe.org --"I never saved anything for the swim back."
