The user quota is per user and file system, the file is allway
counted with its owner. So you may seperte [homes] and the group
share to different disks with different quotas. I have quotas only on
[homes] and check the disk space usage in the projects share
manually. But you may look at group quota for this. With group quotas
(I don't use them may self) the quota is counted and checkt with the
group a file belongs to.
