samba - Nov 1998 - NTDOM FAQ question 2.3

I've compiled and installed Samba version 2.0.0-prealpha (15) on an 
IRIX 6.2 box without problem. I created an account using 'smbpasswd -a
-m'
and see it in the private/smbpasswd file. I can see the server
'ackowledging' the NT 4.0 workstation client to some extent in the log
files but still see

"The machine account for this computer either does not exist or is not
accessable."

Is there anything else I could reference? Suggestions? What should the
entry in the private/smbpasswd file look like if correct?

Is this NT4SP4 by any chance?  If so Luke fixed a problem 
with it.  May need to wait for the next alpha release (or get it via
CVS)
