The release announcement for Rsync 3.0.3pre2 includes this text:

  "See the rsync homepage for more links, e.g. manpages & diffs."

but fails to mention the URL of the Rsync web page.  As a result, I had to do a
Freshmeat search to find the location of the Rsync web page.

All the links in the announcement began with http://rsync.samba.org/, so I
thought it was fairly obvious.  And googling for "rsync" will get you
to the
website even with "I Feel Lucky" (although it takes you to the .au
variant).
Because of that, I hadn't wanted to include yet another link in the email. 
I
may do it just for completeness sake next time.
