I did a lot of search on Google for 2 things: - A GUI to create configure new qdiscs & classes for HTB - A utility that will graph the data sent through all configured classes or qdiscs. It will read in streams of type MP3 and Vorbis from most servers (Icecast, Icecast2, Shoutcast), convert it into various formats, and send to various streaming servers. http://freshmeat.net/projects/streamtranscoder > Thanks for your time. rsync 2.5.5 SCO Unixware patch
Hello list, This is a patch to rsync 2.5.5, and it serves two purposes. The small patches to batch.c, flist.c and log.c simply add "void" to some function definitions so that all declarations in proto.h have full parameter lists. unsigned char read_batch_flags() OLD unsigned char read_batch_flags(void) NEW The SCO UNIXWare compiler correctly objected to these functions not having a

Asterisk, NAT, and RTP?
Hello I think I finally understood the issue/solution, but I'd like to make sure I'm correct: - In Diana Cionoiu's famous article on Freshmeat (http://freshmeat.net/articles/nat-traversal-for-the-sip-protocol), regardless of whether SIP end-points use a public IP or are behind a NAT, RTP packets flow directly between the two SIP end-points because the SIP server only acts... as an SIP server, meaning it only acts as a registrar (for SIP e...

Bandwidth management under linux
In my search to control bandwidth on my network I found 2 projects.. 1. TC 2. BWM Tools - http://freshmeat.net/projects/bwmtools/ This brings me to 2 questions... Firstly, can TC control bandwidth in both directions? I read that it can only do 1 direction, which one I cant remember. Can you monitor the load on the queues you define? Does TC support IPv6? Secondly, BWM Tools seems to queue traffic to...

Adding oggenc support for files other than WAV?
Is anyone working on making oggenc use some nice library that reads lots of different audio file formats so that people can encode from files other than WAV? For example, the 'AudioFile' library (just found it via a search on freshmeat) reads wav, aiff, aiff-c, .au, and .snd. Maybe there are other better libraries (OpenAL, maybe), but this library does what I want (read AIFF). -tim --- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage: http://www.xiph.org/ogg/ To unsubscribe from this list, send a m...

Perl wrapper for libvorbisfile or stuff
...ed a perl module to do Ogg Vorbis tag reading / writing. People pretty much pointed me to the Ogg::Vorbis module that wrapped around libvorbisfile and I should extend that to writing streams, not only reading them. Well, awright, I thought, let's do it. Problem is, though: The download links on freshmeat are all broken and I don't know where to find this library. Does anyone, please, still have this laying around, or even better, give me some smart way how I can do this without hardcore hacking ('cuz I don't know A THING about wrapping C functions and stuff).
