I''d say this might be a failure in user design; requiring a user to go
through a tutorial before using your app can be a huge turnoff for
many users. But it really depends on the subject area and what you''re
trying to accomplish.
The best form of this is an active tutorial alongside the forms, that
guides the user as they fill things out, but can stay out of their
way. I don''t have a ready example, sadly. The second best form of this
is providing help callouts the user can hover over and/or click on.
Generally a question mark icon is indicative of available help.
