how to maintain RTL version of stylesheets with rails asset pipeline?
Hi, I want to build a sleek solution that let''s me run a website serving both rtl and ltr locales, but only having to maintain one set of stylesheets. I''ve described my idea and question on stackoverflow, and encourage anyone with interest or insights into the asset pipeline to check it out and contribute if possible: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11349186/how-to-maintain-rtl-version-of-stylesheets-with-rails-asset-pipeline Thanks! /Jeppe -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Re: how to maintain RTL version of stylesheets with rails asset pipeline?
Hi guys, Since no-one could answer me the way I wanted, I went ahead and created a solution: https://github.com/monibuds/stylesheet_flipper It''s on rubygems.org, currently in version 0.0.2 and it''s in production on app.monibuds.com. If you like the solution, feel free to upvote my answer on http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11349186 ;-) If you don''t like it, please tell me why. <commercial> monibuds is a startup that aims to improve conversion on ecommerce sites, by providing targeted functionality in the right time and context of the shopping experience. So to all of you guys who work with webshops, contact me or Avishay Gaziel on ag-SdWyYSq1ksBWk0Htik3J/w@public.gmane.org to get acquainted. </commercial> Regards, Jeppe Liisberg On Monday, July 9, 2012 9:44:58 AM UTC+2, Jeppe Liisberg wrote:> > Hi, > > I want to build a sleek solution that let''s me run a website serving both > rtl and ltr locales, but only having to maintain one set of stylesheets. > > I''ve described my idea and question on stackoverflow, and encourage anyone > with interest or insights into the asset pipeline to check it out and > contribute if possible: > > > http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11349186/how-to-maintain-rtl-version-of-stylesheets-with-rails-asset-pipeline > > Thanks! > /Jeppe >-- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
