hi,

i found it easiest to startoff with reading a good book.
http://ruby.railstutorial.org/ruby-on-rails-tutorial-book give you a
step by step on making a microblogging site (if i remember correctly)
and second: http://railscasts.com/ it the place to be for video
tutorials on basicly everything
