Rails - Mar 2010 - educational type of application

Hi,
I''ve been looking for something like moodle but in RoR that would give
the ability to create tests, quizes, and other academic type of
activities but my googling is just not panning out.
I have found fedena and rubycampus (school administration) but ... I
would rather have something that teachers could use to help kids study
English.
Sure I could go with moodle and then add in extensions and what not but
I want to take this chance of doing something in RoR so that I get
something out of this project (I''m doing this for free for a
non-profit,
volunteer site).
Does anybody have an idea or could refer me to an app that already does
this?

I don''t know of anything that sounds exactly like you want, but you
could use something generic like Smerf (http://smerf.cascadia.com.au/)
to make your own quiz/questionnaire application.
