Rails - Sep 2009 - Wish To Modify Railslist (an Open Source Rails Script)

Blessings and Peace:

I am a veteran technologist, but not a coder.
There is an impressive Craigslist clone (Railslist.Com),
that I wish to modify.

My aim to create a bit more dynamic Classified
meets Local News creation, with social network
thrown in (i.e., Facebook Connect).

I have already laid out a schemata, of the envisioned
result. (Happy to provide that, upon request.)  Would
love to garner the helping hand of a Rails surgeon or two.
