[ANN] Looking for real-life Rails devel. stories for a book
Hi -- I''m working on a new book called "Rails Choices", for the Pragmatic Bookshelf. It''s a guide to thinking about the factors involved in making choices during Rails development: templating system, session storage mechanism, testing framework, Ruby version, and much more. As part of the book, I would like to include a large handful of anecdotes from people who have faced some of the choices and chosen one way or the other for various reasons. If you''ve got an interesting story about a project where you or your team made a choice like this, please consider submitting it. If your anecdote is chosen, you''ll get a free copy of the book when it comes out! You can submit one or more anecdotes here: http://anecdotes.rubypal.com Let me know if any questions or problems. Thanks! David -- David A. Black / Ruby Power and Light, LLC / http://www.rubypal.com Q: What''s the best way to get a really solid knowledge of Ruby? A: Come to our Ruby training in Edison, New Jersey, September 14-17! Instructors: David A. Black and Erik Kastner More info and registration: http://rubyurl.com/vmzN
