I updated gems just in case (gem update --system). After trying to install Rails v1.2.5, I got a different error message, but no more success: C:\testror>gem install rails -v 1.2.5 --include-dependencies INFO: `gem install -y` is now default and will be removed INFO: use --ignore-dependencies to install only the gems you list Successfully installed rails-2.3.2 ERROR: could not find gem ûv locally or in a repository ERROR: could not find gem 1.2.5 locally or in a repository 1 gem installed Installing ri documentation for rails-2.3.2...
