Rails - Jan 2009 - MSIE doesn't work with format.html

Hey there ..

This is part of restful_authentication:

def access_denied
      respond_to do |format|
        format.html do
          store_location
          redirect_to :controller => "session", :action =>
"new"
        end
        format.any do
          request_http_basic_authentication ''Web Password''
        end
      end
    end


the thing is, it uses http basic auth when using MSIE .. It''s like
MSIE doesn''t request HTML but ANY instead ..

If I do this

def access_denied
      redirect_to :controller => "session", :action =>
"new"
    end

It''s all fine ..


Is it some kind of bug or something?
