Rails - Jun 2008 - application_helper.rb available to action mailer templates?

Hi -

Curious - shouldn''t application_helper methods be available to action 
mailer templates?  I keep getting no method errors when trying to use my 
helpers - seems there would be an easy adjustment to include this module.

Any tips/ideas?
