Hi all! My first post to the list. I''m looking for a database modeling tool for Mac. I''m running a mysql database for my rails app and I would like to be able to model my schema in a GUI and the export the model as SQL statements (if migrations is possible that would be a bonus :)) I found a lot of different tools for PC but so far none for Mac (e.g http://www.datanamic.com/dezign/index.html). If you have experience from such a tool for Mac, please drop a line and tell me about your experience. Power Architect is one option http://www.sqlpower.ca/page/architect Sorry, but I can''t tell you much about it, since I used it only once by now to sort out a db we got from a third party, when refactoring an app. Otherwise we stick to simple migrations. -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
