Ruby On Rails Developer
Next Internet creates, builds and operates Internet businesses. We are

Next Internet is seeking a Ruby Developers for our companies in San
Francisco.
Responsibilities:
* Work with engineers, product managers, and end users to design and
develop internal tools and external site features in an Agile
development environment
* Conceive, design, build, test, and release features and enhancements
in an iterative manner
* Produce creative solutions with an emphasis on usability and
simplicity
* Write and maintain documentation and unit/functional/integration
tests
* Work proficiently in all layers of the development stack, from SQL to
HTML/CSS and JavaScript
Qualifications:
* BS/BA in CS or equivalent experience in web application development
* Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and
standard software engineering practices
* Organized, self-sufficient worker with a disciplined, analytical
approach to problem solving
* Experience with major web development frameworks (Ruby on Rails,
Hibernate/Spring/Struts/etc., Django, etc.)
* Experience with mainstream SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle,
SQL Server, DB2)
