Good morning, I am currently recruiting for a number of Ruby on Rails Developers to work for a fresh, dynamic online organisation with a very exciting product. Required skills In order to apply, you will be a passionate Ruby on Rails Developer - it doesn''t matter if you have a .NET or J2EE background, as long as all you dream about developing in is RoR and you spend every spare second writing RoR applications (even if you have to do J2EE during the day). However, you must have written at least 1 public RoR application (bonus points if it works nicely on an iPhone!). Ideally, you will have built Web 2.0 generation websites (if so, please provide URLs where possible, describing your involvement). Any exposure to working within a SCRUM-like environment, to a fast-paced, iterative process would be beneficial. Why work for this company? The technical and senior management team includes individuals that have been responsible for leading the delivery of projects such as iPlayer for the BBC, the technical development of Opodo (the Pan-European Online Travel Agency), plus several other high profile online businesses... the track-record speaks for itself. The working environment is fun and dynamic; the company thrives through bouncing ideas around and offers employees half a day per week to spend on personal projects to help drive creativity within the business. A culture of success is bred through developers and designers working in pairs to increase collaboration, putting a buzz into the office and enhancing the quality of work. To confirm, these are permanent roles and offer a flexible salary according to candidate''s expertise. If you are interested, please don''t hesitate to contact me on: Tel: +44 (0) 117 930 8575 matthewhyatt-bdq14YP6qtRynpSAKIaXOtBc4/FLrbF6@public.gmane.org I would appreciate a link to any examples of your work, together with a CV if possible. Alternatively, if this isn''t right for you but you know someone who may be interested, please still get in touch, as I can offer a referral fee of £300 for any successful recommendations.
