Hi all, I am trying to use RoR to consume some webservices provided via SOAP, WSDL, UDDI and XML from a Java EJB application server. Looking at some info on the net I choose to use WSF-Ruby rather than ActionWebService because of its implementation of WS-Security and WS-ReliableMessaging. Firstly, which would you recommend for consuming Web Services? Security and Message Reliability will have to play some part. I''ve spent the last few days trying to get WSF-Ruby installed. I am completely confused now after many hours trying to install it. I really need some help with this please if anyone has done it before. I have been using the guide : http://wso2.org/project/wsf/ruby/1.0.0/docs/install_guide.html#Building%20and%20Installing%20WSO2%20WSF/Ruby%20on%20Win32 Do i really have to install visual studio to use wsf-ruby? If so it it just the C++ part i need to install. It mentions if you don''t have Visual Studio you can just run the batch file VCVARS32.bat. Does anyone know if this is possible? Any help that anybody can give would be hugely appreciated.
