Anyone know when Ruby 1.9 will be released? Does Rails 2.0 run on it? Mongrel? Cap? I''ve had a hard time determining the answers through some cursory googling. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Of course, until Ruby 1.9.0 actually ships and freezes what 1.9 means, it''s kind of a moot question.> Mongrel? Cap? That all said, Ruby 1.8.x will continue to be the ruby platform for production for some months. As I understand what Matz has said, Ruby 1.9 will freeze as far as it''s functional specification goes next week, but there''s still work to be done to make it fully production quality. -- Rick DeNatale My blog on Ruby http://talklikeaduck.denhaven2.com/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Ruby 1.9.1 will be released for christmas. I don''t know about Rails compatibility, though. We will see that. As 1.9.1 is the first version of Ruby that is feature-complete, it will take some time before there will be "compatible" software for it. Before the release date, some features switched back and forth, even last month...
