Rails - Aug 2007 - Ruby Web App not loading in IE or Safari ... only loads in Firefox

I have been developing my ruby on rails web app and testing it out
using Firefox.  Today I tried a different browser, Safari, but when I
went to my index page nothing rendered.  I viewed the source, and all
the html is there, but the browser is displaying the page as a blank
white screen.  This is also true for IE.  The only browser my site
renders in is Firefox.  Anyone run into this problem??  Any ideas??

Take out any reference to a stylesheet and validate your (X)HTML.
