here is a sample rhtml:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en"
lang="en">
<head><%= javascript_include_tag :defaults %></head>
<body>test</body>
</html>
the call to javascript_include_tag outputs self-closing <script />
tags. which is not a proper strict xhtml according to the DTD, so IE
does not render the page. the page is just shown blank.
is there a way to make rails behave?
