Ruby on Rails Developer

Zvents.com is a local search engine for events.  We just closed a $7
million
round of funding and we''re looking for enthusiastic Rails developers to
help
take our site to the next level.

The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with Ruby on Rails
- Know how to design and write scalable code
- Be comfortable working in Ruby, SQL and Javascript
- Want to build a phenomenal user experience that people will love
- Have a good understanding of XHTML, CSS, and browser-specific
implementation issues
- Be a self-starter capable of contributing immediately

This is a full-time salary position plus equity.  We''re based in San
Mateo
and are looking to hire developers in the San Francisco Bay area.  If
