Ruby host - easy setup and expandable
Hi I am after a Ruby on Rails host. The key things I am after are: 1. Easy simple setup of multiple websites. 2. RMagick support 3. Im going to start by hosting just a couple of websites but this will increase over time, I want to be able to just upgrade easily, and in the future websites may require more dedicated space. 4. Professional looking control panel for clients to login into. 5. Reliable, good support, reasonable price - don''t mind paying slightly more for quality and ease of use. 6. Online help files for describing how to do things like setup a new site, add a GEM etc Any suggestions much appreciated. Forgot to say, although not essential most of the sites will be UK content so it would be an added bonus if the hosting company was based in the UK. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group. Re: Ruby host - easy setup and expandable
Hi Thomas Thanks for this, I did spot it but I am after more a company who people have used and had experience off. At the minute it is between, Textdrive, Rails Payground and Site 5. Later on down the line for larger sites I really like the look off EngineYard. I have had a look at the guide for Textdrive and it appears quite long winded to get it all working. Can anyone tell me how quick and ewasy Site 5 or Rails Playground are for getting sites up and running, --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Ruby on Rails: Talk" group.
