Rails - Sep 2006 - state/province code validation

Hi,

I''m looking for a DRY method of adding state/province code validation
to several model classes.  I''m wondering how others have dealt with
this.  My attempts at doing it by using validates_associated have been
unsuccessful thus far and I''m just wondering if there is an easier way
that I''m missing all together.
