Hello, I generated a controller, using the command: ruby script/generate controller my_kontroller my_model The generated controller file, however, contains an empty class definition. The default controller code is missing. Any idea what went wrong? Thanks, gk -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.
You only get controller code with script/generate scaffold model_name. www.jefdean.com jeff@jefdean.com 917 414 7801 -----Original Message----- From: rails-bounces@lists.rubyonrails.org [mailto:rails-bounces@lists.rubyonrails.org] On Behalf Of Gene Kahn Sent: Monday, July 31, 2006 12:48 PM To: rails@lists.rubyonrails.org Subject: [Rails] Missing controller default code Hello, I generated a controller, using the command: ruby script/generate controller my_kontroller my_model The generated controller file, however, contains an empty class definition.
