We are a small e-commerce company looking for looking for an experienced
Rub on Rails developer to aid in the development of a ROR based replacement
for our current perl based system. The job includes but is not
necessarily limited
to:
Migrating data from legacy schema to new more rails friendly schema
Conversion of current functionality to new system
Adding new functionality that the current system lacks to the ROR based
system.
Translating perl administrative cron job to Ruby & Active Record based ones
New system will be built using the following additional tools some
familiarity with them is a
plus:
Apache 2
Mongrel ( including the cluster plugin )
MySQL 5
Memcached
Plus send resume and general salary requirements to it-jobs AT ardismg.com.
