Rails - Dec 2005 - alternative postgresql adapter socket

am i wrong, or does the 1.0 Postgresql
(postgres-pr) adapter
not support a :socket option?

After picking through the postgres-pr source, turns out you have to set:

  host; /var/run/postgresql

(Does anyone know if the native lib supports that?
Having some trouble building it.)
