I created a plugin that allows the use of RJS Templates without running Edge Rails. I have written a short overview here: http://www.codyfauser.com/articles/2005/12/02/rails-rjs-templates-plugin The plugin can be downloaded from the article or from the following link: http://www.codyfauser.com/files/javascript_generator_templates.tar.gz I have successfully used the plugin in one of my applications using both the stable svn branch of Rails and the latest Rails gem (0.14.3). The plugin hasn''t received any other extensive testing yet, though, so any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks, Cody -- http://www.codyfauser.com
Has anyone gotten FCGI working with Apache 2 on OS X? Much as I love Locomotive, it doesn''t cover the cases where I need to have a hybrid PHP/Rails application. Hints appreciated.
It''s certainly doable. I''ve got it up and running and everything seems OK. I used the Server Logistics package (found here): http://www.serverlogistics.com/apache2.php which adds a preference pane for Apache as well. DarwinPorts is also popular (FCGI can also be installed through DarwinPorts as well). On Dec 2, 2005, at 8:17 PM, Steve Ross wrote:> Has anyone gotten FCGI working with Apache 2 on OS X?
