Try Instant Rails. I managed to put it up and running yesterday without breaking a sweat. Go grab it here: http://instantrails.rubyforge.org/wiki/wiki.pl -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.
Yes, a couple on this list have experince with running Rails on Windows 2003. IIS is able to run rails through FastCGI and doing this shouldn''t affect anything else on the system as far as I know. Dont really see how it would, but you never know. You could also install Apache and do things that way. Its up to you, but it does run on Windows. -Nick On 11/23/05, Orlando Myers <orlando_myers-PkbjNfxxIARBDgjK7y7TUQ@public.gmane.org> wrote:> > Is anyone running RoR on windows? if so what version for windows 2003 > stanadard edition and will ROR affect any other service / software on the > box? > > _________________________________________________________________ > Take charge with a pop-up guard built on patented Microsoft(r) SmartScreen > Technology. > > http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-ca&page=byoa/prem&xAPID=1994&DI=1034&SU=http://hotmail.com/enca&HL=Market_MSNIS_Taglines > Start enjoying all the benefits of MSN(r) Premium right now and get the > first two months FREE*. > > _______________________________________________ > Rails mailing list > Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org > http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails >_______________________________________________ Rails mailing list Rails-1W37MKcQCpIf0INCOvqR/iCwEArCW2h5@public.gmane.org http://lists.rubyonrails.org/mailman/listinfo/rails
