Rails - Nov 2005 - rails + lighttpd + virtual host + fastcgi -> 403 forbidden error

Hi,

can anybody help please?

I use:
- lighttpd
- fastcgi (libfcgi + ruby-fcgi)
- virtual hosts
- rails

whenever trying to access the web location the invokation of dispatch.fcgi
leads to an "403 forbidden" error. No pieces of advice in the logs!

permissions _seem_ alright
