Was wondering if anyone might have a suggestion to my apache scgi, php configuration issue. I''ve been working away on a little app that uses rails. After I''ve gotten past the initial proof of concept page I''ve been instructed to integrate my app into an existing PHP page. I''ve been using SCGI rails runner under Apache 2.0.54 in winxp and would like to keep using it. I was thinking of sticking an IFrame in the existing PHP page, and was hoping to have SCGI be mounted to the IFrame source and not the PHP page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, John Cole
But... SCGI mounts to a _port_ in Apache SCGIMount ... I don''t understand the part of the iFrame... -- Aníbal Rojas http://www.lacaraoscura.com anibalrojas-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org On 11/2/05, John Cole <cole-4EMvX6ScFxe/3pe1ocb+swC/G2K4zDHf@public.gmane.org> wrote:> Was wondering if anyone might have a suggestion to my apache scgi, php > configuration issue. > > I''ve been working away on a little app that uses rails. Curt is right in his undertsanding of what I want to do. My virtual host directive in the Apache config file was negatively impacting the PHP page which my rails app sitting in an IFrame is part of. I changed my virtual host directive to a different port in the Apache config file and put the SCGI mount there. This works fine but is it a good solution?
