Rails - Oct 2005 - [prototype] hasClassName returning an object

Hi,

when using hasClassName from the prototype library, I don''t get
true/false returned, but an Object. It means the next line always
evaluates to false:
if (new Element.hasClassName(form_field,''invalid_form_value''))

I''ve tried to compare the object returned to true/false, but to no
avail....

Anyone using this method successfuly? (with mozilla).

You don''t need the "new" operator here.  (Think of
"hasClassName" as a
class method on Element.)
