Rails - Oct 2005 - Pragmatic Rails Studio-type class in San Francisco area?

I love the idea from Dave and Mike but don''t think spending nearly $2k
for the
class and travel is possible for me. Can someone point me to a similar training
in the Silicon Valley area between now and the holidays?

While I''d love to do that with some genuine experts, maybe we could  
manage a small setup for a few people and lock ourselves into a small  
room for a weekend?

Think RailsCamp a la BarCamp (or SuperHappyDevHouse), but with less  
emphasis on presentation and more emphasis on bootstrapping developers.

do event planning as a volunteer.

I''m sure the location wasn''t announced until there was already
a
hotel contract in place.

Once you get into November/December, hotel function space gets hard  
to come by for the simple reason that Holiday Party season starts.

The PragProg guys already did surveys, and they chose this location.  
If that works for you, great!

If not, they''ll likely have another elsewhere in the future.
