Rails - Aug 2005 - Posted 0.3 Released and Project Inquiry

Wanted to let everyone know that I have updated the Posted Web Engine  
today, version 0.3 fixes some validation, and Database issues.   A  
lot of management features were added to the comments area, and I  
changed the front-end just a little to show authors and comment  
data.  CSS issues were squashed

On a project note: I will not be adding support for IE until they  
support standards and PNG-24.  There were a few questions about this  
and wanted to address those.  The design allows for you to change  
this if you would like (easy _header and CSS edits).  There''s still a  
lot more to do but patience is a good thing.

Also I have put out a post on my personal site asking for interest in  
creating a project to extend Rail with AJAX / DOM client-side  
validations.  I have developed the necessary JavaScripts for this and  
I am preparing to add them into my Posted project.  Only to realize  
that this is what the community has been asking for (at least that''s  
what I have seen through the list and a few Blogs).  Contact me if  
anyone would be interested in taking this on.  I provide more details  
on my Blog.

I will be preparing to release the files themselves as soon as I make  
them a bit more "generic" from their original development needs.

Good work with Posted - I''ve been playing around with it for the last
few hours. I''m using it for the new RailsAppHosting site. I''ve
fixed a
few bugs and things too so I''ll submit patches when I get some time.
