After a long time I thought I might try to run a rails app natively under WinXP. I am kinda not suspecting that it will work, but I thought what the heck maybe I will be surprised (never have been in the past). I am using the latest OC Installer and have everything set up like described here: http://electricvisions.com/rails.html Now, Typo (a fresh svn checkout) is already working fine when I start it with E:\Develop\ruby\bin\ruby.exe script\server When I try to run it with Apache I get in my fastcgi.crash.log: [29/Jul/2005:01:41:33 :: 4960] Dispatcher failed to catch: uninitialized constant Mysql (NameError) E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activesupport-1.1.1/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:186:in `const_missing'' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activerecord-1.11.1/lib/active_record/connection_adapters/mysql_adapter.rb:37:in `mysql_connection'' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activerecord-1.11.1/lib/active_record/query_cache.rb:52:in `send'' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activerecord-1.11.1/lib/active_record/query_cache.rb:52:in `connection='' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activerecord-1.11.1/lib/active_record/connection_adapters/abstract_adapter.rb:108:in `retrieve_connection'' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activerecord-1.11.1/lib/active_record/base.rb:239:in `connection'' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activerecord-1.11.1/lib/active_record/base.rb:622:in `columns'' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activerecord-1.11.1/lib/active_record/base.rb:627:in `columns_hash'' E:/Develop/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/actionpack-1.9.1/lib/action_controller/session/active_record_store.rb:71:in `setup_sessid_compatibility!'' G:/rails/www/blog/public/dispatch.fcgi:24 In the error.log of Apache I only get: FastCGI: incomplete headers (0 bytes) received from server ... dispatch.fcgi What could this mean? Mysql runs fine under WEBrick. Does anyone have experience with this? Sascha
