Ok I hardly ever use discussion lists. Is there an ad-on to outlook that will let me view this list in the normal way where the first post is a parent and all replys are children of it? Thanks

You could use Mozilla Thunderbird to read your discussion lists. Or sign up with GMail...lots of space, and it''s all threaded. Create labels for all the lists you''re a member of, and you''re all set. I second that. I am amazed on how it is easy to read lists on GMail. All of these completely suck if you are not hooked up to their respective servers, but if you are, then, yes, it''s a little feature-incomplete. For personal stuff, though it works, especially if you can hook it to an iCal server. GMail for reading this list works pretty dang good. The past flame fest w.r.t. where text goes in replies doesn''t really apply to gmail, and reminded me of all the battles between various news readers that did nice things compared to nn, tin, rn, et al, etc.
So how do you get Thunderbird to display a newsgroup threaded? I have all the posts filtered in to one folder already. Also the calendar for Mozilla is Sunbird and it is a little basic at the momment but has all the usual stuff appoitments, alarms, tasks etc. And can sync/publish to online ical calendars. I think it may even still be beta or an early version. Cheer K.
