How many of you using TextMate make active use of the Rails bundle? In DHH''s videos he uses them all the time (WHOOP!). I am still getting acclimated to TM, but I am starting to use them more frequently. However, the current Rails bundle in the TextMate SVN trunk is fairly thin on snippets (only about 20), and is slightly outdated (acc. to the new render syntax). Additionally, the Rails bundle offered on the wiki ( http://wiki.rubyonrails.com/rails/show/ TextMate ) is also out of date. That said, I''d like to see if anyone wants to submit their bundles (or at least the snippets) somewhere. I''m sure Allen would be glad to commit patches to the TM SVN Rails bundle (It hasn''t been updated in awhile), but even if we could get them into a wiki (the rails wiki or the TextMate wiki) that would be a good place to start. Thanks, Matt

If i''m not mistaken the last revision to touch the rails bundle is: r1181 | duff | 2005-06-12 18:14:10 +0100 (Sun, 12 Jun 2005) | 1 line Which is little over a month ago. -- Frederico Oliveira fred-9GT3yixZstQv34k0vaUUyg@public.gmane.org fboliv-Re5JQEeQqe8AvxtiuMwx3w@public.gmane.org http://webreakstuff.com
As a follow-up, the TextMate Rails Bundle now has more snippet goodness. Over the last few weeks there have been several additions/ updates. Most of them are from xal (Tobias), including updates for the preferred syntax (i.e. params[:id] instead of params["id"]), etc., and a new XHTML Bundle. I just added some snippets for the new render syntax. More to come. You can get the new Bundles through SVN.
