Rails - Mar 2005 - setup cpanel host for rubyonrails app

I have a server which has cpanel running, maintaining all the web 
servers. I''m not too familiar with how cpanel works especially, so I 
was wondering what the best way is to get 1) fastCGI working with ruby 
through cpanel and 2) setting up a virtual server to serve a ruby on 
rails application.

If anyone has experience with cpanel and rails I''d be most appreciative
for guidance :)
