Rails - Feb 2005 - Rails on OSX to MSSQL

Hi all. I wondered how close things are to getting support for MSSQL, 
presumably using ODBC, working under OSX.

I was directed to a message from Sean O''Halpin back in November and 
don''t know if this is something to anticipate in an upcoming release.

There is also the FreeTDS way which could be easier than ODBC.

I''m an enterprise user and am more concerned with having a solution
that the details of the chosen solution! In particular, while I might
be able to make Sean''s solution work, I wouldn''t want to use
it in
production until it had been integrated into Rails.

My only thoughts would be that ODBC would open up more database
sources to Rails than FreeTDS and so interest a larger market.
