I am having some difficulty deploying a development app to a new server.
The environment is:
Windows 2003 with apache 2.0.52, mysql 4.1.7, ruby 1.8.2, gem rails
The problem seems to be that a new session is created for every request.
I can check this by stopping the server, deleting all the
session files, then restarting, and attempting to access a protected
page. Two session files are created on disk -- the first one has the
''redirect-to'' value that i dropped in the session before the
redirect,
the second one does not have it.
When I run the app on my laptop, it seems to work file.
I can provide more information, but don''t want to overwhelm. Does
anybody have a solution or an idea?
