Jenner lab, University College London
Our laboratory uses genomics and biochemical techniques to identify how
transcription factors, chromatin modifiers and non-coding RNAs act to
regulate cell differentiation. Our research has led to the
characterisation of a class of short RNAs transcribed from polycomb
target genes that interact with polycomb repressive complex-2 (Kanhere
et al., Mol Cell 2010) and the identification of transcriptional targets
of T-cell master regulators (Kanhere et al., Nature Comms 2012).
We are now seeking an outstanding candidate to lead the analysis of RNA
Clip-Seq and ChIP-Seq data to identify RNAs and genomic loci that
interact with chromatin regulator proteins.
Applicants will either have or be in the process of submitting a PhD in
bioinformatics or hold a PhD in a molecular biology-related subject with
postdoctoral bioinformatics experience.
