I spend more time looking into it since I placed the question and it seems that
there is a conflict between two or more packages when open jointly with
the wavelet package for this specific example. I am trying to identify the
packages.
Many thanks again

Hi Barnaby, No problem. If the function got masked by loading another package, you could do: ?wt.aligned <- wavelets::align(wt) A.K. Thank you I spend more time looking into it since I placed the question and it seems that there is a conflict between two or more packages when open jointly with the wavelet package for this specific example. I am trying to identify the packages.
