R help - Jun 2013 - strange boolean results

Hi,
anyone can explain to me the following?

 > rho
  [1] 0.9452398 0.8792735 0.9641829 0.9876954 0.9993560 0.9826084 1.0000000
  [8] 1.0000000 0.7982916 1.0000000 0.3361956

 > any(rho >= 1)
[1] FALSE
