R help - Mar 2013 - Assign Observations to Tree Nodes

Hi, is there a way to assign observations from a dataset to nodes of a tree?  

For example, if I have a data frame like the following:

ID Var1 Var2 Var3 … VarX 
1           
.           
.           
.           
n           

And then run a classification tree with this form:
tree <- ctree(Var1 ~ Var2 + Var3 + ... + VarX, data=set)

I would like to produce a vector for each node containing the observations
("ID"s) that are contained within that node.  Or really, any output
that would tell me what observations are contained within nodes.  My goal is to
run logits/other analyses on certain nodes and be able to easily pinpoint
subsets of the original data frame who meet the criteria of certain nodes.
