So, try read.csv2() heisenberg <- read.csv2(file="comprice.csv", header=TRUE, sep="\t") Hope this is helpful, Dan Daniel Nordlund Bothell, WA USA
If that is a text file I'd guess that the seperator is a tab. I don's see why you used NULL as R should just read in the file with NA's for empty values. You might want to try : heisenberg <- read.csv(file="comprice.csv",head=TRUE,sep="\t") John Kane Kingston ON Canada> -----Original Message----- > From: e0928766 at student.tuwien.ac.at > Sent: Wed, 13 Mar 2013 00:14:58 -0700 (PDT) > To: r-help at r-project.org > Subject: [R] How to read a *.csv file in R? > > Hey guys, > > I am dealing with this kind of data.
