R help - Jan 2013 - eliminate double entries in data.frame

hello together,

i want to eliminate double entries in a data.frame. 
I have a data.frame, like this one:

     1              2
A   Albert    1800
B   Albert    1800
C   Jack        2000
D   Mike      2200

As you can see, "Albert" is two times available.
I want a solution like this one:

     1              2
A   Albert    1800
B   Jack        2000
C   Mike      2200

How can i eliminate this double entries?
