On most systems using a UTF-8 or Latin-1 locale this will just work (for suitable fonts, but then you are not going to be able to view that webpage without a suitable font). Depends on your OS probably. I would just add a Faroese keyboard to my Ubuntu setup and switch between my normal keyboard and Faoese as required.
