R help - May 2012 - Arules and different item columns with same item labelsŠ.

Dear Users,

I have data that have different data columns (hair color, eye color, etc. ) with
same item labels and I do not want to recode them like haircolor=brown, etc. Is
it possible to do it automatically?

It is not clear what you mean.  Can you supply some sample data?  Have a look at
?dput for a handy way to supply data.
