All, I am trying to estimate the parameters of a bivariate Von Mises distributions. I am looking for somebody to point me in the direction of an R package or function that does this. I have noted the existing packages that allow for obtaining the density values once the parameters have been estimated, but I have not found anything related to the estimation of those parameters. I have found some java code at http://www.stat.tamu.edu/~dahl/software/cortorgles/.
