R help - Aug 2011 - R cmd build error -- "running 'zip' failed"

Hi All,
 
My attempts to build an R package on my Windows 7 computer using R V13.0 ir R
V13.1 using
 
R CMD build --binary  <filename>
 
have  been failing at the penultimate step with the error message "running
'zip' failed" coming after the procedure has completed the MD5 sums
step.The same build command on the same package completes successfully on my
older Vista computer.
 
Since I would prefer to do the builds on the Windows 7 computer I would
appreciate any thoughts on why this maybe happening and what I can do to fix the
problem.

Sounds like a problem with your PATH.
